Letters from the secretariat

Dear Participants,

On behalf of the Secretariat and the entire Organization Team, it is my honor to extend a warm welcome to you all for the BAUMUN TRAIN 2026.

Throughout the BAUMUN TRAIN 2026, you will be introduced to the skills and responsibilities that come with being a delegate. This conference is an opportunity for delegates to challenge themselves, learn from one another, and gain friendships that will stay with them beyond the committee sessions.

As Secretary-General, I am delighted to see and participate in an event where young minds and dedicated individuals from diverse organizations come together with a shared interest in diplomacy, debate, and international affairs. I believe that Model United Nations conferences are not only about discussing global issues, but also about learning to understand different perspectives, exchange ideas, and work together towards meaningful solutions.

As you begin this experience, remember that Model United Nations conferences are not simply about delivering speeches or knowing the rules; it is about listening, collaborating, and learning to approach complex issues with an open mind. Do not hesitate to participate, have fun, ask questions, or learn from your mistakes. What matters most is your willingness to improve, work with others, and take responsibility for the ideas you bring to the table.

We are pleased to welcome you to the BAUMUN Family and look forward to sharing this experience with you.

Kind regards,

Dear Participants,

It is a great honor and a pleasure to welcome you all to the BAUMUN TRAIN 2026. As your Director-General, I am looking forward to seeing such bright, young minds gathered here to take on the challenges of our and their own world.

Do not think of BAUMUN TRAIN 2026 as an event or an ordinary training conference; this organization is one of the most critical steps in your journey toward becoming the leaders, diplomats, and pioneers of change of today and tomorrow.

Never hesitate to show your courage throughout this conference. Like I said, this is not an ordinary training conference; this is a lifetime event that you will never forget. Whether your agenda focuses on global security or environmental justice, never forget that the debates you join today will make a huge difference to the world of tomorrow.

Our team worked tirelessly, day and night, to ensure that this conference is both highly educational and an unforgettable adventure. Make new friends, join debates, play games, and find solutions to the world’s problems.

I wish you all a productive, eye-opening, and transforming conference. Make your preparations, fully embrace your roles, and make these upcoming days truly legen-wait for it-dary!

Welcome to Bosphorus.

Kind Regards,
